• One person per hour (one hour minimum)                                     $75.00
• Two or more people per hour (one hour minimum)                      $125.00
• Targets used during lesson (CTC cost)                                  $0.24 per target

If a Student does not have a shotgun, 12 gauge and 20 gauge Beretta autoloader shotguns are available to rent at the Clay Target Center.  Shotgun shells, eye and ear protection are also available for purchase at the Clay Target Center if the Student does not provide.

During the Lesson

To make instruction time more productive, students will be driven around the sporting clays courses in a "clays cart".  Target presentations will be selected to address student's needs.  Trap and skeet fields will be used when appropriate.

Minimum Age and Weight

To shoot comfortably, control the shotgun, understand and abide with safety instruction, younger students must weigh at least 80 pounds and must be at least 11 to 13 years old (depending on maturity).

Requirements

All Students will sign WAIVER, RELEASE OF LIABILITY AND INDEMNITY AGREEMENT prior to instruction.  Parent or Legal Guardian will sign for a Student less than 18 years of age.

• All Students will receive safety instruction at the beginning of the lesson.
• All Students will use eye and ear protection during the lesson.  If parent/guardion of Students less than 18 years of age accompanies the Student during the lesson, the parent/guardian must also use eye and ear protection..
• Parent/guardian of Students less than 18 years of age must be present on the shooting grounds during the lesson.
• All Students are expected to be on time and ready to shoot at the beginning of their scheduled appointment.  Fees are based on the scheduled time respecting the scheduling of other Students.
• Payment is due at the end of the lesson.  Credit or Debit cards are not accepted.
• Lesson cancellation requires 24-hour notification.
• Instruction is at the Arizona Game & Fish Department Ben Avery Shooting Facility's Clay Target Center.  The facility is located approximately at Interstate 17 and the Carefree Highway just north of Phoenix.
